Autumn Foliage Hiking and Hot Springs in Hokkaido 15 Days

[Sample] Autumn Foliage Hiking and Hot Springs in Hokkaido 15 Days

Hokkaido is the first place to see autumn leaves in Japan, starting from Mt. Taisetsu, the roof of Hokkaido. Autumn in Hokkaido is longer than in other places, and you can enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves from mid-September to late-October. Mt. Asahidake and Mt. Kurodake are popular places for autumn foliage and many tourists visit Hokkaido in mid-October. You may also see the contrast of foliage against the mountains, white snow on top with the green, yellow, red and orange of autumn leaves. There are six National Parks in Hokkaido, including Mt. Taisetsu National Park and Shiretoko National Park. Also, there are 6 quasi-National Parks, such as Abashiri Quash-National Park and Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Kaigan Quash-National Park. On this itinerary, you can learn about Hokkaido's indigenous Ainu culture while enjoying the autumn leaves and Hokkaido gourmet.
